Born in Mufulira, Northern Rhodesia, Sharon’s journey began with early moves across Africa. At the age of seven, she relocated with her family to Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia, and later completed her schooling in Fort Victoria, matriculating in 1974.
Her career started with the Municipality in Bulawayo and later in Chiredzi, before moving into the banking world with Barclays International. In 1981, Sharon relocated to South Africa, where she devoted several years to raising her family and being a dedicated mom and homemaker.
She later re-entered the professional world, serving as an office manager for various attorney firms until 2017. That year marked a turning point as she embarked on a new career in real estate — a decision that proved to be her true calling. Sharon’s passion, determination, and natural ability to connect with people quickly shone through. She was honored as Rookie of the Year in 2017, achieved Full Status Agent by 2019, and was recognized as a Master Property Practitioner in 2020.
Today, Sharon is the proud founder and owner of Shaz and Shane Properties, based in East London in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. Her business reflects not only her professionalism and expertise but also her genuine love for helping people find a place to call home.
